Work on real offensive security projects alongside our practitioners.
A structured internship for students and early-career professionals who want to build serious offensive security skills.
Real work, not a shadowing program.
Interns work alongside the same practitioners who run client engagements, under direct supervision, on tasks that feed real deliverables.
Engagement support
Assist on live assessments under supervision: recon, enumeration, and documenting findings as they are confirmed.
Tooling & automation
Build and maintain the internal tooling that speeds up engagements, from custom scripts to reporting utilities.
Research
Contribute to published research and CVE coordination work alongside the practitioners running it.
CTF challenge design
Design and build challenges for the competitions RTA runs and hosts for the community.
Small cohort, direct mentorship.
We take on a small number of interns at a time so every one of them gets direct time with a practitioner, not a generic onboarding track. Work is assigned based on what you are ready for, and scoped up as you demonstrate you can handle it.
Strong performance during the internship is the fastest route we have to a full-time offer.
What we look for
- Comfortable with the fundamentals: networking, Linux, and at least one scripting language
- Some hands-on exposure to security, through CTFs, coursework, personal projects, or self-study
- Curious enough to dig into how something breaks without being told exactly where to look
- Can write clearly: findings and progress need to be understood by someone else on the team
